About MVBUA Baseball

At MVBUA, we provide NFHS certified professional umpiring in New York State to Utica, Rome, Oneida, and Mohawk Valley area high school baseball teams.

Our umpires provide professional umpire services for all local Senior Legion, Junior Legion, and Prep Legion baseball games.

Travel and Local Leagues

MVBUA Umpires work many local travel and youth leagues throughout the Mohawk Valley as well as local men's league baseball.

Events, Meetings, & Classes

Each certified member must attend either 2 of the 3 educational classes offered and/or the clinic and 1 of the 3 educational classes to meet 3 of 5 parts of the New York State 5-point plan.  The New York State interpretation meeting and passing of the NFHS exam meet the final 2 required parts.  


Any member not meeting all 5 requirements is ineligible to receive any assignments.
